Hello, hope all is well. I entered right into a consulting services settlement on April 24, 2011. At the time that I was employed the company requested my companies on a full time foundation, 5 Days a week/8 HRS/Day…I was requested NOT to enter into another service agreements with any other company because I was wanted FULL Time. The contract had a 90 Day in Writing Termination Clause. Last week the corporate known as advising me advising me that the contract was being terminated and that my service would now not be wanted effective instantly. I asked in regards to the ninety Days Termination clause and was suggested that the clause was only inserted to protect the company. This isn’t the case, I insisted that the 90 Day Clause be inserted as a result of I was asked to only keep one contract and was affraid that if they would terminate my contract I could be left out in the COLD…..that is exactly what happened! Can I do anything!
If an employee’s place is deemed to be eradicated, it is the typically the goal of the company to find a different role for them, and retrain them if necessary. A good firm should consider that proficient people will welcome the challenge of a new role, and revel in profession development with the added responsibilities that go together with it.
Really unhealthy stuff you put up with. My worst grievance with bosses over time (fortunately I actually have largely been self-employed) is that they do not know what’s going on. Assistant managers and group leaders run the companies and if a boss would spend simply sooner or later on a job would find out what a joke many jobs are with the nice staff being mistreated and most jokers paid for nothing causing the good ones to have to pick up the slack until they can take no more and stop.
